Reflections on "Hearing Voices" with Dr. André Churchwell
Dr. Churchwell takes listeners on a journey through different mentors he has had throughout his life beginning with his childhood to his current career. With each mentor, he provides insight to their character and teaching methods specific to how they learned things themselves. Dr. Churchwell emphasizes the care each of his mentors had to their patients and friends and how their intelligence was translated through their dedication and passion.

André L. Churchwell, M.D.
Dr. Churchwell is a Professor of Medicine (Cardiology), Professor of Radiology and Radiological Sciences, Professor of Biomedical Engineering, and Senior Associate Dean for Diversity Affairs at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He graduated from the Vanderbilt School of Engineering and completed his internship, residency and cardiology fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine and affiliated hospitals in Atlanta. He is currently Chief for Diversity Affairs at Vanderbuilt University.
