She addresses the overall Medicare re-admission statistics in the US and ways that systems based medicine projects could be undertaken to improve patient care.

Dr. Charlene Mitchell, M.D., MSPH, FACP
Dr. Mitchell is an Associate Professor of the University of Louisville with a dual appointment in internal Medicine and Pediatrics. She trained at University of Illinois and University of Louisville. She is one of the teaching faculty for the internal medicine inpatient service at University of Louisville Hospital.
